The initiative promoted by the Portuguese technology company specialized in Analytics and Big Data services aims to encourage the entry of young graduates into the job market.
Lisbon, May 6, 2019 - BI4ALL, a Portuguese reference company specialized in Data Analytics solutions, launches today a new edition of the Talent Academy, a program designed to facilitate the integration of new graduates and professionals who wish to reconvert their careers in the information technology (IT) industry.
During the next two months, at BI4ALL's headquarters in Lisbon, 14 young professionals between the ages of 26 and 36 will be integrated into the company's team, with the possibility of developing technical skills in different methodologies and solutions related to the area of expertise of the company: Analytics, Big Data and Data Science.
The BI4ALL Talent Academy program aims to provide a formative opportunity in a professional development environment for young people looking for their first experience or who wish to reconvert their careers to integrate into the IT job market. Throughout the program, the trainees will be guided by a team of Senior Managers and Consultants, who will then evaluate them, both at a practical and theoretical level. The participants from various Portuguese universities (ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, NOVA University of Lisbon and Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal) will thus have access to an opportunity to enter the labour market, to learn and to be an active part in projects developed by BI4ALL.
According to José Oliveira, BI4ALL CEO, "The realization of new editions of the BI4ALL Talent Academy is a sign of its success, as well as the real need facing our industry from the point of view of recruiting new talent. Currently, the number of people available in the area is no longer enough to fill all the vacancies that appear throughout the country, which leads us to conclude that the solution to this problem has to go through the training of new professionals, but also through the requalification of people who want to integrate this market. If we, companies, do not start doing something for these people, the problem will continue. For this reason, we understand that the training offer in the real context of work is so important".
Through this academy, BI4ALL intends to offer a training component in a professional environment, opening new doors for participants to start their careers. By 2019, BI4ALL is planning to hold at least one more edition of the Talent Academy for the second half of the year, with applications available on the company's website. This initiative is framed in the recruitment plans developed by BI4ALL, which cover direct contact with several renowned universities at the national level, which includes the hiring of 70 new employees throughout this year.
BI4ALL has a very people-oriented culture, promoting the family environment and proximity, but also giving them the knowledge and the best tools to develop their work. The company has recorded strong growth in its turnover over the years. These highly positive achievements result from BI4ALL's strategic commitment to the adequacy and relevance of its offer, as well as the partnerships established and the commitment to human capital as a fundamental pillar of the company's development.
