The rapid technological evolution that we are witnessing today, together with globalization, has led to the need to develop a new Regulation that introduces changes on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data, imposing new obligations on citizens and companies. Thus the GDPR was born.
What is the GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an EU regulation applicable from 25 May 2018 which aims to establish rules on the protection of singular people with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
In this way, the GDPR is based on three characteristics:
|Territoriality||Applies to the whole territory of the European Union|
|The level of sanctions||It can reach 20 million euros or 4% of the annual worldwide turnover|
|The set of rights and duties||That are assigned to citizens and which compel companies that treat personal data to change their methods|
We want to help you respond to the GDPR
BI4ALL has developed an integrated approach that addresses all these new requirements, helping not only companies to comply, but also creating mechanisms to be compliant, meaning that it is the company's goal to continue to support its customers, even after May 25, 2018. We are thus committed to an approach that goes from the issue that combines processes and operations, technology and legal, and will follow through the process, from the collection of information, to the preparation and analysis of the questionnaires until identification of gaps.
